Sarsour Smacked With Justice After Key Democrat Calls for Investigation Against Her

One of the most public faces of the leftist Women’s March is ironically facing staggering anti-woman allegations of her own… and a Democrat is now joining in the fray and demanding answers.
Earlier this week, we reported that Linda Sarsour, an outspoken “Islamic feminist” — if there is such a thing — had been accused of blatantly ignoring a sexual assault that may have happened in New York on her watch.
The organizer for both the Women’s March and Arab American Association allegedly refused to help a sexually assaulted female employee named Asmi Fathelbab.
nstead, Fathelbab claims that Sarsour lashed out at her because Fathelbab “was not attractive enough to be harassed” and the man  she accused was a “good Muslim” who was “always at the mosque.”
Now, it looks like even natural political allies — liberal Democrats — are raising questions about Sarsour and the scandal.

“New York Democratic state Rep. Dov Hikind is calling for an investigation into the charges,” stated The Daily Caller, which broke the original assault story.
Hikind is a veteran Democrat lawmaker from Brooklyn, who has represented his constituents since 1983.
“If Linda Sarsour enabled the sexual assault & harassment of a woman who worked for her, as alleged, this should concern everyone,” the Democrat declared in a statement. “Women everywhere should be demanding an investigation into these charges.”
In a post on Twitter, Rep. Hikind called on people “on all ends of the political spectrum” to take this matter seriously.

Fathelbab maintains that she was routinely sexually assaulted by a Muslim man named Majed Seif, who she claims lived in the same building where the Arab American Association had its offices.
“He would sneak up on me during times when no one was around, he would touch me, you could hear me scream at the top of my lungs,” Fathelbab told The Daily Caller. “He would pin me against the wall and rub his crotch on me.”
All of the organizations that Sarsour represents have been strangely quiet since the scandal emerged. Journalists from the Daily Caller reached out to Women’s March, Seif, and Sarsour herself, but they have all been silent, the news organization reported.
Only the Arab American Association responded with two words, “No comment.”

It looks like the “YesAllWomen” and “MeToo” crowd is nowhere to be seen when an actual issue comes up. If they actually practiced what they screeched, feminists should at least be listening to Asmi Fathelbab. Aren’t we supposed to believe women?
It’s rather telling that one of the only public figures actually listening to an allegedly abused woman is a 67-year-old male lawmaker. Maybe “the patriarchy” isn’t so bad after all.
Dov Hikind is right: This isn’t a partisan issue. Either we investigate claims of assault against women, or we don’t. The country is watching.
