BREAKING: House Republicans Just DECLARED WAR on the FBI & DOJ

California Rep. Devin Nunes, chairmen of the House Intelligence Committee, is threatening to hold the Justice Department and the FBI in contempt for withholding pertinent details about a lead FBI investigator, Peter Strzok, who was removed from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigative team.
“I have instructed House Intelligence Committee staff to begin drawing up a contempt of Congress resolution for DOJ Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray,” Nunes said in a statement on Saturday night.
Nunes gave the DOJ and the FBI until Monday to comply with the committee’s list of demands. The committee insists on interviews with Rosenstein, Wray and FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe, as well as any and all documents related to the Trump-hating dossier written by former British spy Christopher Steele, according to the Daily Caller.
“In light of today’s press reports (declaring Strzok’s documented political bias), we now know why Strzok was dismissed, why the FBI and DOJ refused to provide us this explanation, and at least one reason why they previously refused to make Deputy [FBI] Director [Andrew] McCabe available to the Committee for an interview,” said Nunes.
Although Strzok was removed from the Mueller team in August, no real reason was ever given, and the DOJ and the FBI kept giving the Trump administration the runaround for four months. It is known that Strzok now works in the FBI’s human resources department.
“This is part of a months-long pattern by the DOJ and FBI of stonewalling and obstructing this Committee’s oversight work, particular oversight of their use of the Steele dossier. At this point, these agencies should be investigating themselves,” said Nunes.
Finally, someone is ready to stand up to two of the most powerful agencies in America. Both agencies need to clean house and restore the integrity that was lost during the dreadful Obama years. Here’s a better America.
